GRAND FINAL LIVE STREAM

The Alto Young Butcher & ANZCO Foods Butcher Apprentice Grand Final, and for the very first time - the Pure South Master Butcher of the Year competition will be coming to you via live stream on Tuesday 10 November. Tune in to the RMNZ website from 5.45pm to watch the live stream. 

The live stream will be running similar to a sports game with four commentators and three cameras filming all of the action, so you won't miss a thing!

This is a great opportunity to see our industry’s talent showcasing their skills and to see all of their hard work come into fruition while pushing the boundaries with new and exciting products, it's going to be epic! We encourage you to show your support by hosting a ‘watch party’ invite your friends, family and workmates to join you, you can even get a sweepstake going on who will take out the titles!

We’ve also got some of the stalwarts of the industry judging the competition
 

Pure South Master Butcher judges:

·         Head Judge Peter Martin ex Sharp Black and from Fresh Choice Cromwell

·         Corey Winder, Captain of the Hellers Sharp Blacks team and from Elite Meats Bush Inn

ANZCO Foods Butcher Apprentice judges:

·         Jeremy Garth, a member of the Hellers Sharp Blacks team and from New World Ferry Road

·         Brian Everton from Cabernet Foods

Alto Young Butcher judges:

·         Alana Empson from Foodstuffs North Island

·         Peter Farrelly from Wilson Hellaby

Our other judges:

·         Mark Wyllie from the Rollex Group who is our chef judge, judging on cookability of the products

·         Luka Young, a member of the Hellers Sharp Blacks team and from New World Eastridge who will be the judge for the four new awards, up for grabs
