Butchers’ Summit, the retail meat sectors’ annual conference.

Purpose

The Butchers' Summit aims to provide a platform for our members to network, foster relationships and create longstanding industry connections. Our speakers will engage with topics of today and the future, to challenge, motivate, and inspire new ideas and fresh perspectives, allowing delegates to apply new insights in their businesses, to maximise their successes.

Our delegates include independent butchers, supermarket butchery managers, wholesalers, processors, and industry suppliers, making this one of the most significant networking opportunities for our retail meat sector.

Format

Registrations will open early morning on the Thursday, with networking drinks in the early evening plus the conference dinner. Friday is a half day finishing around 1pm to allow delegates to get away early for King’s Birthday long weekend.

Dates: Thursday, 29 and, Friday, 30 May 2025

Location: Te Pae Christchurch Conference Centre, 188 Oxford Terrace, Christchurch Central City.

Times: Thurs 29 May 2024 at 9.30am, we will aim to finish up at 1pm on Friday 30 May 2025.

Parking: No parking onsite, the closest car park to the Centre is the Wilsons car park on the corner of Armagh and Colombo Street (opposite Victoria Square).

Conference Dinner: Te Pae on Thursday evening. This is included in the conference ticket fee. You can purchase additional dinner tickets for $120+gst if you have any partners who would like to join.
