THE GREAT NEW ZEALAND SAUSAGE COMPETITION
The Great New Zealand Sausage Competition is the premier event for New Zealand smallgoods producers. And with good reason - the competition consistently receives hundreds of entries from all over the country, attracts significant media interest, and the public can’t get enough of the humble (and not so humble) snag. Enter now to have your made-in-store sausages and/or mince patties tasted and tested by the NZ’s best culinary experts, and take advantage of the increased sales opportunities and industry recognition, that accompanies success in the competition.
You can enter online by CLICKING HERE. Early Bird entries close on Wednesday 22 July, and Standard entries close on Wednesday 12 August.
NEW MINCE CATEGORY
For the first time the competition welcomes a mince category. In 2020 entrants are welcome to enter their made-in-store burger patties into the Burger Patty category to be the first in the country to be awarded a medal in this new category.
SENDING IN YOUR ENTRIES
We are delighted to once again have the support of Big Chill, who will transport the product free of charge, to Auckland for judging. Further details will be supplied with your entry confirmation.
