Having entered the competition for multiple years, their dedication was further rewarded when they also took home Category Champion for Reuben’s Middle Eye Bacon—a testament to their passion for producing top-quality bacon.

Their gold medal win is a celebration of their strong company values and a reflection of the dedication that goes into every product. Mapari Meats, Auckland

Mapari Meats takes pride in delivering a true farm-gate-to-table experience. Sourcing their animals sustainably from farms near Auckland, their goal is to share the joy of enjoying premium-quality cuts straight from the paddock.

The Kiwi Butcher Shop, New Plymouth

It was a big year for The Kiwi Butcher Shop, a business no stranger to success. Taking home five medals in last year’s competition was a career highlight for the team in New Plymouth, making them the most awarded butcher in the competition.

Their award-winning recipes continue to prove they’re among the best in the country. Proudly family-owned, they remain dedicated to traditional butchery—with their products available both in-store and online nationwide.

 

Thomson Butchery, West Coast

Neville is a fourth-generation butcher. Together with his wife Lynley they own and operate Thomson Butchery.
